Natuurlijk is de uitgelekte sexvideo van Keeley Hazell nu al het letterlijke hoogtepunt van de week, maar dat betekent natuurlijk niet dat er niet anders te beleven valt in mokkelland. FOOTIE star Cristiano Ronaldo has split from sexy Gemma Atkinson, pals claimed last night.
And they say the Manchester United player is already limbering up for a re-match with his Portuguese ex Merche Romero, 30.
One pal said: “Gemma and Ronaldo had a lot of fun but their relationship had kind of run its course.
“They are both young stars but they are from different worlds.
“It was a casual romance between the two of them and who knows what could happen in the future – but for now it’s off.
“She is busy with her TV career while he is going all-out to win the Premiership with Manchester United.
“As a result they haven’t been out too much, so they decided to call things off.”
TV host Merche, is now said to be heading to Britain to meet up with her former love.
And pals say they could be back together as a couple within days.
Andorran-born Merche, who holidayed with Cristiano, 22, on his native Madeira last year, was voted Portugal’s sexiest woman in a lads’ mag.
She and Ronaldo were regarded as the country’s Posh and Becks.
But they broke up when Merche refused to quit her job to move to Manchester.
The pal said: “Though he was pretty cut up about the split they did remain on friendly terms and they chat regularly.
“She’s coming over – she says as a friend – in the next few days to see how he is but it looks like she’s got a lot more on her mind than just being pals.”
The pair will certainly be able to enjoy cosy nights in if they get back together.
Ronaldo, who helped United beat Liverpool yesterday, splashed out
£3million on a mansion at the end of last season.
The five-bedroom house, near Chelford, Cheshire, has a cinema, swimming pool, games room, spa and gym – all kitted out for the pair to get hot and sweaty.
